New Delhi: The heavy conflict between Iran and Israel has now stopped, but on the other hand, Russia and Ukraine have again come face to face. It has been three years since the formal war between the two countries started, but no result has come out yet. Sometimes Russia launches a deadly attack, and sometimes Ukraine also shakes Russia.

On Saturday and Sunday night, Russia launched the biggest attack on Ukraine so far. There is news of Ukraine suffering huge losses in this. Russia has fired drones, missiles and bombers in the air strike. Not only this, but Russia has also shot down Ukraine’s F-16 fighter plane. But just a few hours later, Ukraine has given a befitting reply to Russia. Ukraine has destroyed three advanced Russian helicopters in the drone attack. According to Ukraine, this counterattack continued throughout the night.

Ukraine’s counter attack

Ukraine’s army has also retaliated against Russia. It destroyed dangerous Russian attack helicopters like Mi-8, Mi-26 and Mi-28 as well as a Pantsir-S1 air defence system. It has been claimed that there were major attacks on Russian drone storage, weapons depots and air defence bases.

Death of F-16 pilot Maksim Ustimenko, who tried till his last breath to save his jet. During this, he shot down seven aerial targets, but while targeting the last drone, his plane itself crashed. President Zelensky posthumously awarded him the title of ‘Hero of Ukraine’.

Ukraine made a big claim.

The war between Russia and Ukraine is still going on, which does not seem to have any result. On June 27, Ukrainian drones attacked the Marinovka airbase in Volgograd Oblast, Russia, targeting four Russian Su-34 fighter jets. In this attack, two jets were destroyed.

According to Ukraine, since February 2022, Russia has lost 420 aircraft and 337 helicopters. However, this claim has not been officially confirmed yet. But now there seems to be no strategic consensus between the two countries, due to which the attacks are also becoming fierce.
