TNEA Rank List 2025 Released : Like every year, this time also lakhs of students were eagerly waiting for the rank list of Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA), and finally this wait is over on 27 June 2025. The rank list of TNEA 2025 has been released on the official website of Directorate of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu. This rank list will decide who will get which college and branch in the government and private engineering colleges of the state. If you also want to take admission in engineering through TNEA this year, then now you should start preparing for counseling based on your rank.
What is in the rank list
The rank list of TNEA includes the name of each student, application number, date of birth, cutoff marks and rank according to the category. The special thing this year is that there are 145 students who have scored full 200 out of 200 marks, that is, the competition for the top rankers has been very fierce. This list is completely merit based, in which the cutoff has been prepared on the basis of marks in Physics, Chemistry and Maths.
How to check your rank
Students who want to see this list can check the rank through their login details by visiting the official website of TNEA tneaonline.org. After logging in there, you will get the link of the rank list, by clicking on which you can see your rank and complete details. If any information seems wrong or there is some problem, then students are also being given a chance to register their objection.
Time limit for objections
If any student feels that there is any mistake in the rank list, then he can register his objection from 28 June to 2 July 2025. After this, counseling will start on the basis of the final rank list, so if some correction is to be made, then this will be the last chance.
Counselling schedule
TNEA counseling will be completely in online mode. Different dates have been fixed for students of different categories. On July 7 and 8, students with special reservations such as Divyang, ex-servicemen and sports will be given priority. After this, counseling of special category will be held between July 9 and 11. Counseling for general category, government school and vocational group will start from July 14 and will run till August 19, 2025. After this, counseling for supplementary and SC/SCA category will be held, which will be held between August 21 and 28.
How to prepare for counseling
Now that the rank list has come, all the students should prepare a list of their preferred colleges and branches. While filling the options, keep in mind that comparative analysis of your rank and previous cutoff is necessary.
