According to the Meteorological Department, an alert for rain with thunder has been issued in all parts of Bihar. The IMD has issued a warning for heavy rain accompanied by thunderstorms in Buxar, Bhojpur, Rohtas, Nalanda, and Sheikhpura. Apart from these, a warning of torrential rain has also been issued in Lakhisarai, Begusarai and Arwal.

Heavy rain is also expected in Gaya, Nawada, Jamui, Banka and Kaimur. Over the last 48 hours, heavy rain has been reported in many areas of Bihar, resulting in a drop in temperature.
