India – Pakistan War Update:- After the Pahalgam terrorist attack, the situation between India and Pakistan has become uncontrolled. The Indian Army attacked several cities, including Rawalpindi and Lahore, late on Thursday night. Now, given the tension between India and Pakistan, the Delhi government has also come into full alert mode. A high alert has been issued in Delhi. Along with this, the Delhi government has also cancelled the leave of all officers and employees till further notice.
District Magistrates have held meetings with their subordinate staff to review the health and disaster management preparations for the emergency.
The order has clear instructions that no leave will be given to any officer or employee until a new order comes.
Additional forces were deployed at essential places.
Security has been tightened even more in the national capital. Police sources said that the Special Commissioners of all zones are holding meetings with the Deputy Commissioners of all 15 districts. Last night, the Pakistani army tried to target Avantipura, Srinagar, Jammu, Pathankot, Amritsar, Kapurthala, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Adampur, Bhatinda, Chandigarh, Nal, Phalodi, Uttarlai and Bhuj. However, this attempt by Pakistan proved unsuccessful.
Monitoring is being done with the help of CCTV cameras
“The station has been secured with 41 working CCTV cameras. 7 male and two female CISF personnel have been deployed in each shift to ensure strong security round the clock. This will ensure the safety of passengers.” Bomb disposal squads conducted anti-terrorism checks at several places.
India Gate evacuated
On Thursday night, the Delhi Police completely evacuated India Gate. This step was taken as a precautionary measure for security. After ‘Operation Sindoor’ at Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI), a total of 135 flights were also cancelled till Thursday, while more than 193 flights were delayed.
