Pakistan’s Ceasefire Violation at LoC: The atmosphere on the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir is heated. Last night, the Pakistani army fired mortars on the villages near the border, causing panic in the area. A mother and daughter from Poonch district were badly injured in this shelling, one of whom is said to be in critical condition.
But India was not going to sit quiet! Our brave soldiers gave a befitting reply to the terrorists hiding in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). If sources are to be believed, the Indian Army carried out a massive air strike on nine terrorist hideouts in the early hours of Wednesday, which broke the morale of the enemy.

There are also reports that immediately after the Indian attacks, there was heavy shelling from across the border in areas like Krishna Ghati, Shahpur and Mankot in Poonch and Lam, Manjakot and Gambhir Brahmana in Rajouri district of Jammu. Sounds of firing were also heard in Karnah in Kupwara district of North Kashmir.
All this is happening when tensions have already increased after the tragic terrorist attack in Pahalgam on April 22. 26 innocent people were killed in that attack, most of whom were tourists. It is believed that this air strike has been done to avenge that horrific massacre.
ADGPI of the Indian Army has given this information on the social media platform ‘X’ that Pakistan has once again violated the ceasefire by firing in Bhimber Gali of Poonch-Rajouri sector. He also wrote that the Indian Army is giving a befitting reply to this.
Let us tell you that India and Pakistan had agreed to stop firing on the LoC and International Border (IB) by entering into an agreement on February 25, 2021. Since then, such incidents were rarely seen on the border. But recent developments have again increased tension on the border.
