Weather Forecast Update: The weather is changing, resulting in storms in some areas and rain in others. On Saturday, due to rain and a storm in many areas of the country, the temperature dropped. People got relief from the heat due to the fall in temperature.
Due to the storm, trees, poles, and electric wires broke and fell onto the roads at many places, causing pedestrians to face problems. The weather became pleasant due to rain with storms in many areas of South India.

The weather is also bad in the northeastern states, resulting in rain late at night in many places. Due to the sunshine in western Uttar Pradesh and the Delhi NCR region, the temperature level increased. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of storm and rain in 20 states.
Rain warning in these states
According to the Meteorological Department, an alert has been issued for rain with thunderstorms in the active western disturbance in the Himalayan areas and north-west Jharkhand. According to IMD, a rain alert has been issued in the northeastern states of Manipur, Puducherry and Mizoram. Apart from this, a rain alert has also been issued in Tripura, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim.
Rain and thunderstorms are expected in many areas of Tamil Nadu, Telangana and Kerala. An orange alert warning has been issued for Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Uttarakhand and Jharkhand. Apart from this, rain and thunderstorms are expected to occur in many places in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and West Bengal.
Rain and snowfall in hilly states
Snowfall and rain were recorded in the upper parts of Jammu and Kashmir, which led to a drop in the temperature level. Due to snowfall in Sinthan Top, the route to Anantnag and Kishtwar has been closed for two days.
Along with this, due to fresh snowfall in Rajdan Pass, it has been decided to close the Bandipora-Gurez road and Zojila in the Ganderbal district. Snowfall was recorded in the hilly areas of Afarwat, Machil, Pahalgam, and the Pir Panjal hills, as well as in places around the Amarnath cave, leading to a drop in the temperature level.
