Weather Forecast: The weather has deteriorated once again, resulting in a drop in temperature due to thunderstorms and rain in many areas of North India late at night. Due to a strong storm in the plains of western UP and Uttarakhand, trees broke, and electric poles and wires also fell. Due to this, power cuts caused people to cry throughout the night.
The heat made it difficult for people to sleep. In some parts of South India, there was rain accompanied by thunder in the early morning, resulting in water filling many places. The weather also became delightful. In the Delhi NCR region, people also received relief from the heat due to rain accompanied by thunder. The weather remained bad in the northeastern states as well. The Indian Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heavy rain in the next 12 hours.
Heavy rain alert in these states
According to IMD, heavy rain and thunderstorm warnings have been issued in many states across the country. An alert has been issued for heavy rain accompanied by thunderstorms in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit, and Baltistan. Additionally, there is a possibility of rain in Muzaffarabad and Himachal Pradesh.
A warning of rain with thunderstorms has been issued for the northeastern states, including Manipur, Puducherry, and Sikkim. There is a possibility of rain with thunderstorms in many areas of Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Nagaland, and Tripura. Apart from these, an alert of rain with thunderstorms has also been issued in Odisha, Jharkhand and Bihar.
Warning of thunderstorms in these districts of UP
The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heavy rain accompanied by thunderstorms in Ambedkarnagar, Amethi, Ayodhya, Azamgarh, Badaun, Baghpat, Bahraich, and Ballia. Apart from these, rain can also occur in Balrampur, Barabanki, Basti, Chandauli, Deoria, and Ghazipur, along with deteriorating weather conditions.
Here, storms can also become a problem for the people, accompanied by thunderstorms, which may also occur in Gonda, Hapur, Hardoi, Jaunpur, Kanpur Nagar, Kheriei and Lucknow. There may be rains with thunderstorms and clouds in Mau, Mirzapur, Pilibhit, Pratapgarh, Prayagraj and Raebareli.
