Jam for several hours on the Prayagraj route

On Sunday, there was a jam for several hours on the route coming from all four directions towards Prayagraj. There was news of the closing of Prayagraj Sangam railway station due to heavy crowds outside the station. According to officials, till 8 am on Monday, 46.19 lakh people, including 10 lakh Kalpvasis, took a dip in Sangam. Since the start of the Maha Kumbh last month, about 44 crore people have dipped in the Sangam.

Akhilesh cornered the Yogi government over traffic chaos in Prayagraj.

Meanwhile, on Monday, Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Akhilesh Yadav criticized the Uttar Pradesh government for the massive traffic jam in Prayagraj. He claimed that devotees coming to the Maha Kumbh fair face a lot of inconvenience. Yadav said on ‘X’, “Due to the traffic jam all around in Prayagraj, neither food grains and vegetables-spices are available for eating and drinking nor medicines, petrol-diesel. Due to this, crores of hungry, thirsty, tired devotees stranded in Prayagraj and the Maha Kumbh complex and on the roads leading to Prayagraj are getting worse every hour. This is a dire situation. “

The police officer’s appeal in the video is said to be correct. Due to the massive crowd of devotees, traffic jams prevail in Prayagraj. Akhilesh Yadav has also raised the issue of the inconvenience devotees face due to the traffic jams.
