OLA Roadster EV Bikes Launch
Talking about launch, then Ola Electric CEO Bhavish Aggarwal has launched three new bikes on the occasion of 15 August. The bikes have been brought in the Roadster series. Their design has also been kept quite futuristic. Ola has launched Roadster X as an entry level segment electric bike, Roadster in the mid segment and Roadster Pro in the premium segment. The bikes have been designed in such a way that it provides comfort during riding. Many great features have been given in the bike.
OLA Roadster EV Bikes features
Talking about features, then Ola’s new electric bike has great features. All LED lamps are available in Roadster Pro. Also, LED DRL, USD forks, two channel switchable ABS, disc brakes in front and rear, cornering ABS, emergency SOS, speed limit alert, adaptive cruise control, collision alert, race, urban rain and off road modes have been given for riding. At the same time, features have been given in Roadster. Features like CBS, disc brake, sports, normal, eco riding modes, Ola map turn by turn navigation, OTA update, digital key lock have been included in the entry level bike Roadster X.
OLA Roadster EV Bikes Range
Talking about range, then Roadster Pro has battery options of 8 and 16 kWh capacity. Which gives a range of 579 IDC kilometers after full charge. Along with this, the motor installed in it has given it 53 kilowatt power and 105 Newton meter torque. Roadster has battery options of 3.5, 4.5 and six kilowatts.
Which gives it a range of 248 kilometers. At the same time, Roadster X, which has been brought as an entry level bike, has batteries of 2.5, 3.5 and 4.5 kWh capacity. With this, the top variant of Roadster X can be driven up to 200 kilometers.
OLA Roadster EV Bikes Price
Ola’s new bikes have been launched at an initial ex-showroom price of Rs 75,000. The company has launched Roadster X at this price. Apart from this, the initial ex-showroom price of the company’s Roadster has been kept at Rs 1.05 lakh. Roadster Pro 8 has been launched at an initial ex-showroom price of Rs 2 lakh.
This price is the introductory price of the bikes and can be changed later. Booking of bikes can be done online or offline from the showroom. Delivery of Roadster and Roadster X will start from January next year and delivery of premium bike Roadster Pro will start from Diwali.
