2026 Bajaj Pulsar NS200 Launched: The Bajaj Pulsar series has made a significant impact in India, with the NS200 model being particularly popular. To make it even more powerful, the company has launched the 2026 variant. It now includes new features and an increase in engine power. The bike is equipped with a 5-inch TFT display, an Electronic Throttle Body (ETB), traction control, and a bi-directional quickshifter. Let’s take a look at the full details.
Bajaj Pulsar NS200 Price
As for the pricing, Bajaj Auto has introduced the updated Pulsar NS200 in the Indian market with an ex-showroom price of ₹1,60,374. The company has implemented several changes to make this new model more powerful than its predecessor.
2026 Bajaj Pulsar NS200 Features
The new Pulsar NS200 comes with features such as a TFT instrument cluster, riding modes, traction control, and a quickshifter. Additionally, it includes Google Maps mirroring, which reduces the need for the rider to frequently check their smartphone for navigation. With this update, the NS200 retains its signature sporty character while becoming significantly more tech-forward.
Engine
Regarding the engine, the 2026 Bajaj Pulsar NS200 continues to be powered by a 199.5cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, four-valve engine. However, the company has increased its power output from 24.5 PS to 25.5 PS. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox, consistent with the previous model.
Electronic Throttle Body and Ride Modes
The most significant change in the new Pulsar NS200 is the inclusion of an Electronic Throttle Body (ETB) system. In this system, throttle input is managed electronically. This allows the company to offer various riding modes on the bike. It also includes traction control, which regulates engine power to help maintain tyre grip.
Bi-Directional Quickshifter
The 2026 Bajaj Pulsar NS200 features a bi-directional quickshifter, branded by Bajaj as the “Sports Shifter.” This feature is highly beneficial for those who enjoy sporty riding; it reduces the effort required to shift gears while on the move, thereby enhancing the overall sporty riding experience.
Front Suspension and Tires
Bajaj has retained the perimeter frame chassis for the new Pulsar NS200. However, the front suspension has been updated: the previous 33mm upside-down (USD) front forks have been replaced by 37mm USD forks. These thicker forks are intended to improve the front suspension setup. The rear now features a 130/70-R17 radial tyre. Additionally, the bike comes equipped with adjustable brake and clutch levers.
