First of all, talking about its price, Ultraviolette X-47 Venom has been launched in India at an introductory ex-showroom price of ₹ 2.65 lakh. This offer is available for the first 5,000 people. The company has started its booking, while the delivery is expected to start next month.
VX-100 platform
The Ultraviolette X-47 Venom is the first motorcycle on the company’s new VX-100 100V architecture. It has a new SRB-11 battery pack and UV Lightfury electric motor. The company has also reduced the weight of the bike. Now its weight is 180 kg, which is about 20 kg less than the previous model.
Let us tell you that the bike has a ground clearance of 200 mm, which helps in travelling on bad roads and bumpy roads. Its motor control unit has also been redesigned. According to the company, the new controller is two times more compact than before, and its power density is three times.
30 kW motor and top speed of 155 km/h
Talking about performance, Ultraviolette X-47 Venom is compelling. It has a peak power UV Lightfury electric motor of 30 kW, i.e., about 40 hp. According to the company, this electric bike can accelerate from 0 to 60 km/h in just 2.7 seconds. Whereas it takes 5.9 seconds to reach 100 km/h. Its top speed is 155 km/h.
Range of 343 km
Now, talking about its range, the company has claimed an IDC range of 343 kilometres for the Ultraviolette X-47 Venom. It has a new SRB-11 battery pack whose energy density is up to 20% higher than before. According to the company, its cooling power is double, and the power to expel heat is also better than before.
Safety Features
The new X-47 Venom has a safety system called UV Hypersense. It has a 77 GHz rear radar which can monitor traffic up to 200 meters behind the bike. This system works by taking into account the roll, pitch and lean angle of the bike up to 20 degrees. With this, features like Blind Spot Monitoring, Lane Change Assist, Overtake Alert and Rear Collision Warning are available.
7-inch touchscreen and smart connectivity
Let us tell you that a 7-inch TFT LCD touchscreen has been provided in the cockpit of the bike, which has been named UV Interface X. It has features of Mappls navigation and cruise control. Front and rear dashcams are also integrated. Also Violette AI.
