Weather Update: Severe Cyclone In the Bay of Bengal, IMD warns of heavy rain and storms in these areas

Weather Alert:  Most areas of India are experiencing severe heat these days. In most of the states of the country, temperatures are being recorded above 45 degrees. The scorching heat and intense sunlight have made people’s lives miserable.

On the other hand, a cyclonic storm is developing in the Bay of Bengal, due to which winds of 60 to 70 km per hour and heavy rains can also be recorded in many areas. Meanwhile, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an alert regarding heavy rains and cyclonic storms in many states of the country.

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of a cyclonic storm today from the pressure area in the Bay of Bengal.

Due to the storm, a warning of heavy rain with a wind speed of 60 to 70 kilometres has been issued in areas of the east coast. Along with this, a warning has already been issued for fishermen and people living in coastal areas.

There is a possibility of rain in many states in South India. Apart from Phalodi, the scorching heat has made life miserable for people in other parts of Rajasthan too.

The temperature was recorded at 46.3 degrees in Rajgarh, Madhya Pradesh, and 43.8 degrees in Orai, Uttar Pradesh. The maximum temperature recorded in Sirsa, Haryana, was 45.4 degrees Celsius.

According to the Meteorological Department, rain is expected in most of the states of South India. There is a possibility of a cloudy sky in Bengaluru on Saturday. Along with this, the maximum temperature is likely to reach 30 degrees.

The maximum temperature in Chennai is expected to be up to 37 degrees Celsius. A warning has been issued for rain in Chennai, the capital of Tamil Nadu, today. The maximum temperature in Kerala can be recorded at up to 29 degrees Celsius on Saturday.
