Upcoming MG cars: Leading automobile manufacturer MG Motor India is going to bring its popular Astor SUV to India with a new avatar. Apart from this, the company will also bring a new Cloud EV in the compact MPV segment. The design patents of both these upcoming cars have been leaked on the web, revealing the futuristic design language. The new Astor is likely to be launched in late 2025 and launched in India in 2026, while sales of the new MPV are expected to begin in 2024. Let us know about these two upcoming cars.

MG Cloud EV

After the ZS EV and Comet, the Cloud EV will be the company’s third electric offering in India. The patent image shows a blacked-off front grille, projector headlamps, left front fender-mounted charging port and a wide air dam. This compact MPV will also have dual-tone alloy wheels, black roof, panoramic sunroof, front door mounted ORVMs and integrated rear spoiler. The interior of MG Cloud EV has not been revealed yet. However, it is expected to get a large touchscreen infotainment system, fully digital instrument cluster, 3-spoke steering wheel, rear AC vents and horizontal AC vents.

Mg astor facelift

The new generation MG Astor will have a newly updated front fascia with a redesigned grille, revised bumper and updated headlamps. The nose grille looks flatter than before and the bonnet looks slightly longer. The side profile will be updated with newly designed alloy wheels and a new shoulder line. Its wing mirrors will have lane watch cameras and the glass area looks slightly larger than before. At the rear, it will get a new designed bumper, wraparound taillamps and a new designed tailgate. According to reports, the new MG Astor will be offered with three powertrain options; Can be offered with petrol, diesel and hybrid.
