BMW S 1000 XR :German luxury motorcycle manufacturer BMW Motorrad has launched its updated S 1000 XR for the Indian market. The company has made some changes in it as compared to the old model. For example, its height is 10mm as compared to the current model.
Price and colour
The seat has also been changed for comfortable riding according to long distance and long time driving the motorcycle. Its length and width have been increased to make it more comfortable. Its ex-showroom price is Rs 22.5 lakh. New color options have also been included in the updated BMW S 1000 XR. Some new updated graphics will also be seen in it. It will also get sharp integrated split LED headlight. A smoked visor is also available on it. Overall, you will get great bodywork. The company also recently launched its performance bike BMW M 1000 XR in India.
Features
Talking about the features of the updated BMW S 1000 XR,
features like lean-sensitive ABS, traction control, cruise control and wheelie control have been given as standard in this sports tourer. For braking, the motorcycle is equipped with twin-disc brakes at the front and a single-disc setup at the rear.
Engine
The bike can be customized with the optional M package. This motorcycle is powered by an updated 999 cc, inline-four cylinder engine that produces 168bhp of power at 11,000rpm and 114Nm of torque at 9,250rpm. It is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with a two-way quickshifter and is equipped with 4 ride modes – Rain, Road, Dynamic and Dynamic Pro.
