On Day 1 of India’s 3rd Test match in Mumbai against New Zealand, Virat Kohli danced to the Bollywood song ‘My Name is Lakhan.’ The supporters joined in chorus and harmonised the song from the stands. The cameraman captured the moment when Kohli displayed his dance movesplaying the hook step on the field and the crowd sang in unison. He delighted his fans more than once with his silly antics during a match.

2. ‘Naagin’ Dance – IND vs BAN 1st Test 2024

In the second innings of Bangladesh’s big chase, when Kohli danced the ‘Naagin Dance’ as a parody or distraction for Bangladesh’s team for failing to defend a steep 515 target during the first Test match. The Bangladesh team used the ‘Naagin Dance’ as a way of celebrating and greeting each other too.

3. Joyful time with Chris Gayle, IND vs WI 2019

Virat Kohli and Chris Gayle played for RCB together between 2011 and 2017. In 2019, during India’s tour to the West Indies, they danced together during a rain break in Guyana. Fans viewed the video, and it went viral over social media. The match was abandoned, but India won the series 2 – 0.

On November 5, 2025, very cleverly Virat celebrated his 35th birthday by scoring 49th ODI century in IND – SA World Cup 2023 Match. Kohli entertained the crowd with his stylish actions on the field. Kohli danced to the Bollywood song ‘Chaleya’ from the movie Jawan. Kohli also copied top Indian actor Shahrukh khan famous pose and the crowd loved it. Kohli secondly danced to the song Ainvayi Ainvayi from the movie ‘Band Baaja Baaraat’, where his wife Anushka Sharma was the lead girl in her first film.

5. Bhangra DANCE Step, IND vs AUS Champions Trophy 2025 Semi-Final

In Champions Trophy 2025 semi-final match, Australia lost their first wicket when Cooper Connolly was out, and Virat Kohli, who was the previous captain, danced on field. Kohli was dancing bhangra’s steps and excited the sold-out crowd at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
