Miraculous performances on the sports field are nothing new. They are seen in cricket, football, tennis and many other games. Some moments are so amazing, unbelievable, and unimaginable that they win people’s hearts. One such incredible example of fielding was seen in the Maharashtra Premier League (MPL) 2025. Puneri Bappa’s wicketkeeper Suraj Shinde surprised everyone with a sensational run out.
Wicketkeeper’s Super Throw
Suraj Shinde did wonders against Raigad Royals. His throw first hit the stumps at the striker’s end, but the batsman had already reached the crease. Then came an unbelievable twist. The ball went further and hit the stumps at the non-striker’s end. This led to a run out of the non-striker.

Stealing a Single Proved Costly
This moment happened in the very first over of the second innings. Puneri Bappa had given a target of 203 runs to Raigad Royals. On the fifth ball, striker Siddesh Veer pushed the ball to the on-side and tried to take a quick single. Wicketkeeper Suraj Shinde quickly collected the ball and threw it. Siddesh Veer saved himself by returning to the crease, but his partner Harsh Mogaveera was unlucky and got run out.

Before this, Suraj Shinde had scored 40 runs in just 12 balls. After batting, he impressed again with his wicketkeeping. His team Puneri Bappa won the match by 99 runs. A similar run out was once seen in 2022 when West Indies star Andre Russell was run out in the Bangladesh Premier League. Sri Lanka’s Thisara Perera had thrown the ball from slip, and it hit the stumps at both ends.
