He top-scored in the SMAT, scoring 517 runs in 10 innings at an average of 57.44, including two centuries and two fifties, including a century in the final against Haryana. His strike rate was also over 197. Shubman Gill has been omitted from the 15-member squad announced under Suryakumar Yadav’s captaincy.
