Suryakumar Yadav also has a chance to achieve a major milestone in T20 cricket. He is just 59 runs away from reaching 9,000 runs.

If Suryakumar Yadav scores 59 runs in the first match, he will become the fourth Indian batsman to reach 9,000 T20 runs, joining legends like Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and Shikhar Dhawan. Suryakumar Yadav is also renowned for his big-hitting prowess in the shortest format of the game. Suryakumar Yadav has hit 394 sixes in T20 cricket and needs only six more to reach 400.
Ahead of the first T20 International against South Africa at the Barabati Stadium in Cuttack, four members of Team India, including head coach Gautam Gambhir and captain Suryakumar Yadav, visited the Shree Jagannath Temple on Tuesday and offered prayers. Suryakumar Yadav, accompanied by his wife Devisha Shetty, entered the 12th-century temple amid tight security.
