Surrey Championship 2025: Indian team’s wicketkeeper batsman KS Bharat will now be seen playing cricket on the soil of England. He has signed a contract with London’s Dulwich Cricket Club for the Surrey Championship 2025. Now he will play for Dulwich Cricket Team. The cricket agency has given this information on its Instagram. After Rishabh Pant’s return to Test cricket, his place in Team India became difficult. This is why he has now decided to play in the Surrey Championship. It is certain that his arrival will benefit the Dulwich cricket team, as he has experience of playing for both franchise cricket and the Indian team.

He has been a part of many IPL franchises including Kolkata Knight Riders, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Capitals. He has scored a total of 199 runs in 10 IPL matches. But no team bought him in the IPL 2025 mega auction for this season. Apart from this, he has also captained his state in first-class cricket.

Played last Test match 

Wicketkeeper batsman KS Bharat made his Test cricket debut for the Indian team in the year 2023. After this, he scored 221 runs in 7 Test matches. During this, his highest score was 44 runs. He took over the wicketkeeping duties against Australia in the final of the World Test Championship 2023. But then he could not contribute much with the bat. He played innings of 5 and 23 runs. He played his last Test match for the Indian team in February 2024. Since then he is out of Team India.

He has scored a triple century in domestic cricket

Even though his performance in international cricket has not been good, his record in domestic cricket has been excellent. He has so far scored 5686 runs in 105 first-class matches, in which 10 centuries and 32 half-centuries have come from his bat. Apart from this, he has scored 2502 runs in 76 List-A matches. In 2015, he also scored a triple century in the Ranji Trophy. His highest score in first-class cricket is 308 runs.
