Asian Legends League: These days many cricket leagues are being played in different parts of the world. Women’s Premier League is being organized in India. International Masters League of former players is also being organized. Also, IPL 2025 will also start soon. Apart from all this, another league is being played, in which a former explosive batsman hit 6 sixes in 6 balls of an over. This player is former Sri Lankan all-rounder Thisara Perera, who did this amazing feat in the Asian Legends League. Along with this, he also scored a century in just 35 balls.

In this T20 league being played in Udaipur, Rajasthan, Sri Lanka Legends and Afghanistan Legends were face to face in the eliminator match on Saturday 15 March. In this match, Sri Lanka batted first. A great batsman like Tillakaratne Dilshan could not do anything special for them and was out after scoring just 8 runs. But after this, Maven Fernando played a brilliant innings of 81 runs and brought the team in a good position. But the star of the innings was captain Thisara Perera.

Perera hit 6 sixes in 1 over

Former Sri Lankan explosive all-rounder Thisara Perera played some stormy innings during his international career, in which the T20 World Cup 2014 final was special. But Thisara, who retired 4 years ago i.e. in 2021, still has the same magic in his bat and the Afghanistan bowlers had to bear the brunt of it. Perera created a stir by hitting a six on every ball of Ayan Khan in the 20th over of the innings. That is, he hit 6 sixes in the over and became the first batsman to do so in the history of this tournament. There were also 3 wide balls in this over and thus Sri Lanka got 39 runs from the over.

A stormy century in just 35 balls

But these 6 sixes hit by Tisara proved to be even more amazing because on the basis of this he also scored a stormy century. Before the last over of the innings, Tisara had hit 72 runs in just 30 balls, which included 7 sixes. Then with the help of the next 5 sixes, he thrilled the fans by scoring a smashing century in just 35 balls. Perera also hit a six on the last ball and thus returned unbeaten after scoring 108 runs in just 36 balls, which included 13 sixes and 2 fours. On the basis of his innings, Sri Lanka Legends scored a mountainous score of 230 runs.
