Ahead of the launch, Xiaomi’s sub-brand has revealed several details about these upcoming Poco X-series phones. The Poco X8 Power will be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 6-series chipset. Both phones will feature a 6.83-inch AMOLED display supporting a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. Let’s take a look at the features of these phones.
Poco X8 Power and Poco X8 Specifications Revealed
Dedicated microsites have been created for the upcoming Poco X8 Power and Poco X8, revealing the key highlights and features of both smartphones. The Poco X8 Power will feature an octa-core Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chipset. It will also launch with 8GB of RAM. Regarding the display, both smartphones will sport a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED 12-bit display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. For security, both devices will include an in-display fingerprint scanner.
The Poco X8 Power and Poco X8 will also support Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. Both phones will run on Xiaomi’s Android 16-based HyperOS 3.0. The Poco X8 will be available in Black, Fiery Orange, and Frost White. It will also come with IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for protection against dust and water.
Poco X8 Power, Poco X8 Battery
The Poco X8 smartphone will feature a 9,000mAh battery with support for 67W wired fast charging. Meanwhile, the Poco X8 Power will come with a 10,000mAh battery and support for 100W wired fast charging. Both phones will also support 22.5W wired reverse charging.
