PM Kisan 24th Installment Date: We’re halfway through October, yet farmers enrolled in the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana are still waiting for their 24th installment. As time goes on, farmers’ worries are mounting, and many are eager to know when their Rs 2,000 payment will arrive.
Will the PM Kisan Yojana’s 24th installment be released on October 25?
There’s been talk that the 24th installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana might come through on October 25th. Typically, PM Modi distributes funds to farmers’ accounts during special occasions. On October 25th, 2026, PM Modi will be in his parliamentary constituency of Varanasi. He’ll attend the Indian Air Force’s “Wings Over the Ganga” air show (showcasing Rafale, Sukhoi, Tejas, and Surya Kiran aircraft) at Namo Ghat and address a large crowd.
On the same day, the Prime Minister will also travel to Odisha to open the Reserve Bank of India’s (RBI) Greenfield Data Center and Training Institute in Khurda district. Many believe PM Modi could transfer funds to farmers’ accounts during this visit. That said, the central government hasn’t officially confirmed a date for the installment. October 25th is just an educated guess.
When did the previous installment arrive?
The 23rd installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana was distributed on June 20, 2026. Following that payment, farmers have been anticipating the next one. PM Modi released this installment from Tarakeswar, Hooghly, West Bengal.
This is why farmers are hopeful about receiving the next installment during the Prime Minister’s Varanasi visit. However, just because an installment was released during one event doesn’t guarantee it will happen at every official visit. The actual date for the next installment will only become clear once the government makes an official announcement.
Farmers get Rs 6000 every year
The central government provides Rs 6,000 annually to farmers benefiting from the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Farmers receive this money in three installments. Every four months, the central government sends ₹2,000 to farmers through DBT. However, if you want your installments to arrive on time, you should complete your eKYC.
