According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, a warning of heavy rain has been issued in the Andaman-Nicobar Islands and Sikkim in the next 24 hours.
IMD has issued an alert regarding heavy rain in many districts of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.
The Meteorological Department estimates that moderate to heavy rain may occur in Telangana and Vidarbha.
According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rains are expected at some places in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and coastal Andhra Pradesh.
The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for light to moderate rains for Northeast India, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Kerala and Jammu and Kashmir.
The Meteorological Department states that Odisha, Marathwada, Gujarat, and Punjab may experience light rainfall in the coming days.
Alerts have also been issued for rain in Gujarat and Rajasthan.
