In an interview with Pinkvilla, the film’s producer Firoz Nadiadwala revealed how several industry stalwarts helped resolve the unresolved issue that had kept the project in limbo. Firoz Nadiadwala said, “The ‘Hera Pheri’ family is back together because of the love and respect of my brother Sajid Nadiadwala and Ahmed Khan.” He also said that Sajid spent his precious time and hard work for several days to resolve this issue. After all, it is a relationship of more than 50 years!

Firoz Nadiadwala further said that Ahmed Khan also spent a lot of time to resolve this issue. Sajid kept trying and his hard work paid off – now Paresh Rawal has become a part of this project. And not only Paresh Rawal, Firoz also said that Akshay Kumar was also constantly supporting us. He said, “We have got full support from Akshay ji as well. We have had a very good relationship since 1996. He was very supportive and loving in resolving this entire issue.”
