Monsoon Alert: The Meteorological Department has issued an alert regarding heavy rainfall in many states across the country. In some states of the country, warnings have been issued for thunderstorms, lightning, and rain. Due to continuous rainfall in some areas, floods have occurred; in such situations, the problems of the people have increased significantly. According to the Indian Meteorological Department, there may be incidents of heavy rain, thunderstorms and lightning across the country in the coming days. Landslides are common in hilly areas, while floods are more prevalent in low-lying areas.
