Monsoon Alert: The weather in the country is about to change soon. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning about heavy rains and thunderstorms in many states of the country. Due to the rain, a slight drop in temperature is noticeable. IMD has issued an orange alert for heavy rains in northern interior Karnataka, West Bengal and Sikkim.
