Meanwhile, the Indian Meteorological Department has predicted the onset of the monsoon and rain. The IMD has predicted heavy rains in several states across the country from June 12 to 17. Along with rain, alerts have also been issued for thunderstorms and strong winds in many states of the country.
Alerts have been issued regarding rain in North and West India between June 13 and 17.
The IMD expects rain in Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and the Delhi-NCR region.
According to the Meteorological Department, rainfall is expected in Delhi from June 13 to 16.
Heavy to heavy rains are expected in Central Karnataka today.
Moderate to heavy rains can also be recorded in coastal and interior Karnataka.
There may be heavy rains in many parts of Maharashtra for the next 4 to 5 days.
