Price and variants
The Honda NX200 is priced at ₹1,55,659 (ex-showroom) in India. This bike is available in just one variant but comes with three different color options, making it even more stylish.
Design and Looks
The Honda NX200's design looks exactly like an adventure tourer bike. Its front fairing and windscreen from the front give it a muscular and bold appeal. Although its design resembles the Honda CB200X, the company has made some improvements that make this bike look more modern and unique.
Engine and performance
The bike features an 184.4cc BS6, single-cylinder engine that generates power of 17.03 bhp and torque of 15.9 Nm. The engine has been updated according to the OBD-2B standard, which now gives more eco-friendly and smooth performance. It has a 5-speed gearbox that makes gear shifting even more smooth.
Riding Comfort and Handling
The riding position of the Honda NX200 is quite comfortable. The bike has Upside Down front forks and rear monoshock suspension, which makes jerks feel less on bad roads as well. This setup is derived from Hornet 2.0, but the tuning is slightly different so that it proves to be better for touring.
Braking System and Safety Features
The NX200 has 276mm disc brakes on the front and 220mm disc brakes on the back. In addition, the bike also includes dual-channel ABS, which provides greater control and protection during braking. This feature especially comes in handy when you are riding on a highway or mountainous areas.
Weight and fuel capacity
The Honda NX200 weighs 148 kg, making this bike balanced and controlled. It has a 12-liter fuel tank, which prevents the hassle of filling petrol repeatedly during long rides.
Competition and Rivals
Although the Honda NX200 has no direct rival in this segment, it may have to compete with bikes like the Hero Xpulse 200. The NX200 is designed for those who want an adventure bike but do not want to take too heavy or high-end models.
