The NEET PG exam will be conducted on August 30 in a single shift. The exam timings will be from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM.

Number of questions: There will be a 10% reduction in the total. Instead of 200, only 180 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) will now be asked. Marking Scheme: The total marks have been reduced from 800 to 720.
Time-locked Sections: The NEET PG question paper is divided into 5 mandatory sections. Each section will contain 36 questions, and candidates will have 42 minutes to solve them.
When will the admit card be released?
Admit cards for the exam will be released three days prior to the exam date. Candidates should note that the exam city slip cannot be used as an admit card. It is mandatory to carry a valid identity proof along with the admit card.
When will the NEET PG 2026 result be declared?
The NBEMS will announce the NEET PG result by September 30, 2026, following the exam. Aadhaar authentication and biometric verification of candidates will also be carried out at the NEET PG exam centres.
