LPG Update – ₹210 LPG Subsidy Not Credited? How to Check Your Status Online

LPG Gas Subsidy Status Check: Amidst rising inflation, if you are worried about not receiving your gas cylinder subsidy in your account, there is no need to fret. You can easily check the status of your subsidy from the comfort of your home using your mobile phone or computer. Under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, the government transfers a subsidy of ₹210 per cylinder directly into beneficiaries’ accounts via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).

To avail of this government gas subsidy, linking your Aadhaar with your LPG connection is mandatory. Often, people complain they are unaware whether the subsidy amount has been credited to their accounts.

In such cases, you can use the ‘mylpg.in’ portal—launched by the Central Government—to find out whether your subsidy has been released or is stuck in the process for some reason.

Here are the steps to check LPG status online:

First, visit the official portal: mylpg.in.
On the home page, select the cylinder icon corresponding to your gas company (e.g., Indane, Bharat Gas, or HP Gas).
On the next page, go to the menu and click on the ‘Give Your Feedback Online’ option.
Select ‘LPG’ from the category list and then navigate to the ‘Subsidy Related (PAHAL)’ option.
Click on the ‘Subsidy Not Received’ option.
Enter your registered mobile number or 17-digit LPG ID and submit.
Full details regarding your gas booking and subsidy payments will then appear on your screen.

Why might the subsidy not be credited to your account?

If the e-KYC process mandated by the gas agency has not been completed, your subsidy will be withheld. To receive the subsidy amount directly into your bank account, your account must be linked to Aadhaar, and the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) facility must be active. Payments can get stalled if there is any discrepancy between the name recorded with the gas agency and the details in your bank account.
