Methi Mutter Malai Recipe –

Ingredients for onion paste –
3 small onions sliced (approx 150 gram)
3 tblsps Cashew Nuts pieces (Kaju pieces)
2 tblsps Magajtari Seeds (watermelon seeds)
3 green Chillies broken in two pieces
1/2 inch Ginger chopped
3 Garlic cloves
1/4 cup water

Ingredients for Blanching Methi Leaves –
1 pinch Cooking Soda
1 tsp Sugar
1 cup Methi Leaves (approx. 40 gram)

Ingredients for gravy –
2 tblsps Ghee
Onion paste (prepared above)
1 cup water (rinsed from mixer jar)
1/2 cup hot milk
2 tblsps Mava (or Milk Powder)
50 gram Paneer grated
Finely chopped Methi leaves (prepared above)
2 tblsps Kasuri Methi
1 tsp Punjabi Garam Masala Powder
2 tsps Salt (or as per taste)
3/4 cup frozen Mutter (Boil the mutter if fresh mutter is used)
1 1/2 tsps Sugar
1/4 cup Malai (or fresh cream)

Serve hot with Naan or parathas
