What is Bima Sakhi Yojana
Bima Sakhi Yojana is a scheme started by the Life Insurance Corporation of India under which 10th pass women can apply. Women between 18 and 70 years can apply under this scheme. Women applying are given 3 years of training. During training, women are told about the importance of insurance. Not only this, some money is also given to women during training. After applying under this scheme, women taking training can work as LIC insurance agents. BA pass women will also be given a chance to become development officers.

How much money will be received?
Women applying under the Bima Sakhi scheme will be given 3 years of training. During the training, women will be given a total of 2 lakh rupees. In the first year, women will be given ₹ 7000 every month, in the second year ₹ 6000 every month and in the third year ₹ 5000 every month. Apart from this, bonus commission will also be given to women. For this, women will have to follow some conditions. Out of all the policies sold by women, 65 percent should remain active by the end of the next year. For example, if a woman sells 100 policies in a year, then next year 65 of those policies should remain active till the end of the year.
