What is IT Saksham Yuva Yojana
Haryana government has started this scheme to eliminate unemployment in Haryana. This scheme was announced by former Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar. The mission of this scheme is to provide employment to 60000 youth. But in the first phase, 5000 youth will be employed under this scheme. Graduate and postgraduate applicants with IT background can participate under this scheme.
A short term course will be organized under this scheme which will be of 3 months. After completing this course, the youth will be posted in various departments, boards, corporations and other agencies or private institutions of the state. The aim of this scheme is not only to provide employment opportunities but also to ensure career development of the youth.
How much remuneration and assistance will be given
The youth participating in the IT Saksham Yuva Yojana will be given remuneration assistance of ₹ 20000 per month for the first 6 months. From the seventh month, the youth will be given remuneration assistance of ₹ 25000. In this scheme, the youth who are unable to get a job even after the short term course will be given unemployment allowance of ₹ 10000 per month by the government.
Which agencies will provide training
Under this scheme, Haryana State Electronics Development Corporation Limited, Haryana Knowledge Corporation Limited and Shri Vishwakarma Skill University have been selected as training agencies. The government can notify additional agencies if needed.
