Under this scheme, the government is going to give an opportunity to study in private schools to such students, whose family’s financial condition is not good and their parents cannot educate them in any private school. Under this scheme, the government gives children of poor families an opportunity to study in private schools. Children from poor families will also be able to study in private schools

Under this scheme of the government, any child whose family income is less than Rs 1.80 lakh is eligible to get the benefit of this scheme. In the initial phase of this scheme, the government is going to cover about 25,000 students who will be from class 2 to 12th. To start the Chirag scheme, the government has abolished section 134A. The main goal of the government with this scheme is to allow low-income children to study in private schools for free.   • The student applying in this scheme must be from the state of Haryana.
  • The annual income of the student’s family should not exceed Rs 1.80 lakh.
  • Students of Haryana state who are studying from class 2 to 12th can apply in this scheme.
  • Only children from economically poor and weaker section families will get the benefit of this scheme.

How to apply

  • First of all, all the students have to open the official website of this scheme on their mobile.
  • Now the home page of that website will open in front of you.
  • On the home page you will see the option of application form of Haryana Chirag Yojana.
  • You have to click on this option.
  • Now its form will open in PDF form, which you have to download and take a printout of it.
  • Now you have to fill the application form carefully and attach photocopies of all the documents to it.
  • Now you have to submit the application form to the school where you want to take admission.
