Free Plot Scheme: Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Saini has announced a big scheme for the poor families of the state. Under the Chief Minister Rural Housing Scheme and Pradhan Mantri Rural Housing Scheme, the state government will soon start the process of providing housing to poor families. The Chief Minister said that the Housing for All Department has completed all the necessary arrangements under this scheme and eligible families will soon be given plots of 100-100 square yards.
Allotment of 100-100 square yards plot
Chief Minister Nayab Saini said that these plots will be allotted in developed colonies like cities, in which all basic facilities like road, water, electricity and sewerage will be available. For this, the Chief Minister has approved an amount of Rs 100 crore. He directed the officials that those eligible families who cannot make lump sum payment, should also be provided bank loan facility, so that no eligible family is deprived of taking advantage of the scheme.
Identification and allotment process of eligible families
It was told in the meeting that all the eligible families of the state have been identified under the Chief Minister Rural Housing Scheme and Pradhan Mantri Rural Housing Scheme. These families do not have their own house, land or flat to build a house and their annual income is less than Rs 1.80 lakh. These eligible families will be given plots of 100 square yards each. Chief Minister Saini said that more than 5 lakh people have applied for 100 square yard plots under this scheme and all of them will soon be allotted plots in different phases.
Distribution of 50 square yard plots in Mahagram Panchayats
The Chief Minister said that under the scheme, 50 square yard plots will also be allotted in Mahagram Panchayats. This step will be especially beneficial for poor families living in small villages and Mahagram Panchayats. Through this, the government is also planning to provide houses to those families who have land available for small plots. This decision is an important step towards improving the standard of living of people living in rural areas.
Mukhyamantri Shahri Awas Yojana
The state government has also made a plan for the poor families living in cities under the Chief Minister Urban Housing Scheme. Under this scheme, about 10 lakh people will be provided housing. Chief Minister Saini said that the poor living in urban areas will also get the benefit of this housing scheme of the government and they will be provided cheap and convenient housing.
All sections of the society will get housing
Chief Minister Nayab Saini clarified that the objective of this scheme is to fulfill the dream of their own house to the poor families of every section of the society. The state government believes that it is necessary to provide housing to all citizens for a stable and prosperous society. Under this, priority will be given to the poor, deprived and working class people.
Investment and development
This scheme will not only provide housing to the poor, but it will also lead to construction work and development of infrastructure in the state. Apart from this, this scheme will also create employment opportunities at the local level. This step of the government will also promote economic development in the state.
