EPFO Update: If the PF of any member of your family is deducted, then some important things have to be taken care of. To avail the benefits under the ELI scheme, it has been decided to extend the deadline for UAN activation and Aadhaar seeding with bank account holders once again.
Employees can now easily complete this work by 15 March 2025, which will give great convenience to the employees. Employees will now get a bumper gift, which is very important to know.
Know what is ELI scheme?
The central government has won everyone’s heart by announcing the employment related incentive scheme in the budget for the year 2024-25. A target has been set to create 20 million jobs in the next two years. To get cash benefits under this scheme, it is very important for the employees to activate UAN and link it to the bank account with Aadhaar card.
3 types of schemes have been included in the ELI scheme. A, B and C. The aim of all three schemes is to promote employment generation and also provide financial assistance to new employees. With an expenditure of Rs 2 lakh crore, the target has been set to create employment, skills and other opportunities for 4.1 crore youth in 5 years. The target of the ELI scheme is to generate more than 2 crore jobs in two years. Along with this, it has been said that every subscriber of EPFO must be linked to Aadhaar.
Method to activate UAN number
With this, you will have to go to the official website of EPFO epfindia.gov.in.
Along with this, you will have to click on For Employees in the Services section.
Then you will need to click on Member UAN Online Service OCS OTCP appearing in the second place in the Services column.
- Then you will have to click on Activate UAN.After this, you should fill in the 12 digit UAN and
- Aadhaar number, name, date of birth, Aadhaar linked mobile number, captcha code.
- After this, you will need to click on the declaration check box given below.
- Then you will have to click on the Get Authorization Pin button.
- Then you will have to fill in the OTP and click on the Submit button.
- Then your UAN is activated.
