Mumbai BMC Mayor News: For the first time, Mumbai’s BMC will have a female mayor, a decision made through a lottery. On Thursday, the lottery resulted in the mayor’s position being reserved for a woman. The name of the female mayor will be decided soon. Similar lottery results favouring women were also seen in the Mumbai, Pune, and Nashik municipal corporations.
