There appears to be no respite from this adverse weather for the next six days,as conditions are expected to remain unsettled. Rain accompanied by storms is anticipated across a wide area,ranging from the hilly regions to the plains.
Furthermore,adverse weather conditions are also likely in the states of Eastern and Northeastern India. Several districts in Uttar Pradesh may also experience rain accompanied by gusty winds. Western Disturbance to Become Active
Due to the activation of a Western Disturbance across various parts of Northwest India,light to moderate rainfall is predicted between April 2 and April 5. The impact of this system is expected to be most pronounced on April 3 and 4. Additionally,hailstorms and strong winds are also anticipated. A heavy rainfall alert has been issued for the Kashmir Valley for April 3.
Weather Forecast for Delhi Today
According to the Meteorological Department,Delhi is expected to experience partly cloudy skies today,April 2. During this period,the maximum temperature is likely to hover around 33 degrees Celsius,while the minimum temperature is expected to be close to 18 degrees Celsius. Over the coming days,light rainfall accompanied by thunder,lightning,and strong winds is possible.
Weather in UP,Haryana,and Punjab
According to the Meteorological Department,weather conditions in Uttar Pradesh,Haryana,and Punjab are expected to undergo a rapid change between April 3 and April 5. These states may also witness gusty winds blowing at speeds of 40–50 km per hour.
In several locations,wind speeds are projected to reach up to 60 km per hour. Warnings regarding storms and squalls have also been issued for Western and Eastern Uttar Pradesh. Wind speeds of up to 70 km per hour are expected in this region.

Possibility of Rain and Hail Here as Well
According to the Meteorological Department,a warning has been issued for rain,snowfall,and hailstorms across Jammu & Kashmir,Himachal Pradesh,and Uttarakhand. Weather conditions are expected to deteriorate significantly in these areas on April 3 and 4. Additionally,strong winds and lightning strikes may also occur. Residents have been advised to remain vigilant and take necessary precautions.
Rain in the East and Northeast
According to the Meteorological Department,there is a possibility of rain and lightning strikes in various parts of Bihar,Jharkhand,Odisha,and West Bengal. Furthermore,a warning for several days of rain has been issued for the northeastern states of Assam,Meghalaya,and Arunachal Pradesh. Rain is likely to occur in multiple locations across these regions.
Rain in South India Until April 5
The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for light to moderate rainfall in Coastal Andhra Pradesh,Telangana,and Interior Karnataka until April 5. In addition to these areas,rain is expected in Kerala and Mahe from April 3 to 5,while the Rayalaseema region is likely to experience rain on April 4 and 5.
Lightning strikes are expected in Tamil Nadu,Puducherry,and Karaikal from April 3 to 5,and in Coastal Karnataka between April 1 and 3. Hailstorms may be witnessed in North Interior Karnataka on April 4 and 5,and in South Interior Karnataka on April 5.
