The Meteorological Department has issued a warning for heavy rain and thunderstorms on May 10 for several states, including UP, Bihar, Jammu & Kashmir, and Madhya Pradesh.
During this period, strong winds gusting at speeds of 80 to 85 kilometres per hour are possible. According to the IMD, an alert for heavy rain and thunderstorms has been issued today for numerous districts across Uttar Pradesh. Between May 11 and May 14, significant weather fluctuations are expected across the plains and hilly regions of North India.
The Meteorological Department forecasts that stormy winds may blow across Jammu & Kashmir and Uttarakhand on May 11 and 12. Meanwhile, heatwave conditions are likely to prevail at isolated places across Western Rajasthan and Gujarat over the next three days.
