Possibility of heavy rain in UP
Heavy rain is expected in Uttar Pradesh on July 31, i.e. today. Moderate to heavy rain is expected in Chitrakoot, Banda, Hamirpur, Jalaun and Jhansi. Apart from these, heavy rains are expected in Kanpur, Kanpur Dehat, Fatehpur, Kaushambi, Prayagraj, Pratapgarh and Rae Bareli.
Unnao, Lucknow, Hardoi, Sitapur, Kheri, Farrukhabad, Auraiya, Kannauj, Mainpuri and Etawah are also likely to experience bad rains. Rain alert has also been issued in Etah, Aligarh, Agra, Noida, Ghaziabad and Bulandshahr. Heavy rains can become a disaster in Meerut, Saharanpur, Mathura, Hathras, Kasganj, Varanasi, Chandauli and Amethi. The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains in Banka, Patna, Gayaji, Bhojpur, Nawada and Bhabua till August 1.
