According to the Meteorological Department, a warning of rain with thunder has been issued in many areas of West Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and East Rajasthan. A torrential rain alert has been issued in West Bengal, Odisha, Bihar and Jharkhand. Rain can make life miserable for people here.

A heavy rain alert has been issued in many places in eastern Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and western Uttar Pradesh. Apart from these, a heavy rain alert has been issued in Chhattisgarh, eastern Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi along with thunderstorms.
