Uttar Pradesh is becoming the centre of heatwave, increasing heat is making people miserable

HEAT WAVE WITH STORM: These days the sun is spewing fire from the sky in Uttar Pradesh. People are suffering from the heat. The thing to note is that the record of the last 5 years has been broken by the scorching heat.

These days the situation is such that in many districts the mercury has reached around 48 degrees. The havoc of the heatwave is such that for the last several days, a red alert of heatwave has been issued in many districts of the state.

On the other hand, the Meteorological Department has issued an alert regarding thunderstorms and rain in the districts of Eastern UP for the next three days. Whereas strong hot winds are expected in western UP.

Temperature higher than normal

This year, the record of heat of the last five years has been broken in UP, that is, after the year 2019, May of 2024 has been recorded as the hottest month. The surprising thing is that the maximum temperature in the state reached 48 degrees Celsius.

The minimum temperature recorded was 32 degrees Celsius. Both the temperatures are more than the normal degrees Celsius and that too by five to six degrees Celsius.

Maximum temperature at many places

On Friday, May 24, an alert was issued regarding heat waves in Prayagraj, Fatehpur, Banda, Chitrakoot, Kaushambi, Kanpur Dehat, and Kanpur Nagar.

In some districts, hot winds can blow even at night, these districts are- Lucknow, Lakhimpur Kheri, Farrukhabad, Jhansi, and nearby areas. At many places in UP, the maximum temperature has reached close to 48 degrees.

At the same time, in the districts where the maximum temperature was recorded between 42 to 45 degrees, the minimum temperature in these districts was recorded between 28 to 30 degrees. Those districts are-Barabanki, Hardoi, Kanpur city, Kanpur Dehat, Lakhimpur Kheri, Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Ballia Churk, Bahraich and Prayagraj

Heavy Storm Alert

If you want to know how long will we get relief from the heat, then the Meteorological Department has predicted the possibility of thunderstorms and showers for three days in many districts of Eastern UP.

In this way, there will be some relief from the heat in Eastern UP. On the other hand, the weather in Western UP may remain similarly hot. Due to Western Disturbance in Eastern UP, there is a possibility of thunderstorms and rain for 3 days from today.

An alert has been issued regarding storm and rain in these districts for three days-
Ballia, Azamgarh, Mau, Deoria, Kushinagar, Gorakhpur, Maharajganj, Bahraich, Balrampur, Shravasti, Gonda, Varanasi, Chandauli, Jaunpur, Ghazipur Basti, Sant Kabir Nagar, Siddharthnagar
Basti, Ambedkar Nagar, Amethi, Barabanki, Sultanpur, Ayodhya.
