The fog first appeared in the forests and then spread to populated areas by nightfall. While there is less fog in Himachal Pradesh, people are facing considerable difficulties due to snowfall. Life is becoming difficult for people in most parts of Jammu and Kashmir and Uttarakhand. Although the monsoon has officially withdrawn, heavy rainfall continues. According to the IMD (India Meteorological Department), heavy rainfall is expected in several parts of the country. In Kerala, considered the gateway of the monsoon in South India, the rains have not stopped. The weather has taken a turn once again. The Indian Meteorological Department has issued an alert for heavy rainfall with thunder and lightning in various parts of Kerala on January 13th, 14th, and 15th.

Andhra Pradesh Weather Forecast

The weather in Andhra Pradesh is also expected to deteriorate significantly. According to the IMD, the weather has changed here as well. Considering the situation, there is a possibility of rain in the coastal areas of the state until January 15th. People have been advised not to go outside due to the possibility of thunderstorms and lightning.

Rain Warning in These States

According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rainfall is expected in several parts of South India until January 5th. The IMD has predicted heavy rainfall in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Puducherry, Rayalaseema, and Mahe.

Besides these, heavy rainfall is also expected in Mahe, Yanam, Karaikal, Lakshadweep, and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Meanwhile, a heavy rainfall alert has been issued for Himachal Pradesh, Central Maharashtra, Jammu and Kashmir, and Ladakh for January 15th, which is three days from now.
