Weather Forecast:- The rainy season is going to start soon in North India. Currently, the rainy season is underway in many states across the country. In some states, there is severe heat and heavy rainfall in certain areas. IMD has issued a red alert for five states in the country. Heavy rains have been occurring in these states since Thursday night. According to the Regional Meteorological Centre, the rain is happening due to a pressure system formed over Bangladesh, which is gradually moving towards the northeast.
On the other hand, due to heavy rains in Kerala, Karnataka, Maharashtra and Assam, people’s lives have become miserable. Due to heavy rains, life has been disrupted. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has issued a red alert for several states. According to the Meteorological Department, the sky in Delhi is expected to remain cloudy for the next few days.
Heavy rain warning in Assam
‘Red alert’ has been issued regarding heavy rains in most parts of Assam. Heavy rains are occurring in Arunachal Pradesh and Meghalaya, which have worsened the situation in Assam.
Rainfall in these states
Over the last 24 hours, light to moderate rainfall has been recorded in some areas of Lakshadweep, coastal Karnataka, and Northeast India. Apart from this, light to moderate rain has been recorded in many states, including Tamil Nadu, Marathwada, South Madhya Pradesh, Konkan and Goa, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal, and Bihar.
Red alert for heavy rain in these states
The Indian Meteorological Department has issued a red alert for the states of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Meghalaya, and Manipur. According to the Meteorological Department, light to moderate rainfall is expected in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand over the next 24 hours. Heavy rain is expected in East Bihar, East Jharkhand, Odisha, Chhattisgarh and East Madhya Pradesh. Heavy rains may occur in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, the interior areas of Karnataka, Konkan and Goa. Strong winds are also likely here.
