Weather Update: The changing weather is being seen across the country. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert regarding rain in many states of the country. Heat is increasing in Uttar Pradesh. Due to the scorching sun in many districts including Lucknow, people are in a terrible condition. There is a possibility of severe heat in the state in the coming days.

According to the Meteorological Department, clear weather can be seen in the state after May 11. However, on May 10, rain and thundershowers may occur at some places in the western and eastern parts of the state. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert regarding heavy rain, lightning and thunder in about 15 states.

Weather conditions in UP
According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of thunderstorms and lightning in Chandauli, Varanasi, Mau, Sant Ravidas Nagar, Jaunpur, Ghazipur, Azamgarh, Ballia, Jhansi and Banda districts on Saturday.

Rain warning in these states

According to IMD, rain, thunder, lightning and strong winds will continue in North-West and Central India for 4-5 days. Also, heavy rain, thunder, and lightning in northeast India will be possible from May 10 to May 13. The Meteorological Department has predicted that light to moderate rain, thunder, lightning, and strong winds will occur in Jammu, Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand until May 11. At the same time, an alert has been issued for light to moderate rain in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh till May 11 and in Rajasthan till May 13.

IMD has issued a warning for light/moderate rain, thunder, and lightning in Chhattisgarh until 13 May. At the same time, winds are expected in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim from 10 to 12 May and in Gangetic West Bengal till 11-13 May. On the other hand, an alert was issued because of heavy rains in sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim from 11-13 May.

According to the Meteorological Department, a warning has been issued for heavy rains in Arunachal Pradesh from 10 to 13 May, in Assam and Meghalaya from 11 to 15 May, in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura from 11 to 13 May. A warning has also been issued for light rain in Delhi.
