Monsoon Alert: Most states in the country are experiencing severe heat at this time. People are in a terrible condition due to the scorching heat and strong sunlight. The temperature has crossed 54 degrees in most states, including Bihar, UP, Punjab, Rajasthan, and Delhi. Meanwhile, IMD has issued an orange alert for many districts of seven states in the country. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of moderate rain, lightning and strong winds in these areas.

The IMD has issued an alert regarding rain and thunderstorms in certain districts of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Assam. The weather is likely to change in these states in the coming days.

According to the Meteorological Department, light to heavy rain is expected at many places in Kerala, Mahe, Karnataka, coastal Andhra Pradesh, and Lakshadweep over the next one to two days. During this time, an alert has been issued regarding rain and lightning in various areas of Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal, as well as interior Karnataka and Telangana.

Apart from this, light to heavy rainfall, along with thunderstorms, is likely at some places in Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Konkan, and Goa today.

Moderate rainfall is likely to continue at some places in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim during the next 24 hours. During this time, rain is expected at different locations in Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal, Sikkim, Jharkhand, Odisha, Bihar, and Chhattisgarh.

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and parts of western Rajasthan within the next two days. Heavy rain is expected in Uttarakhand from June 12 to 16.

During 11-16 June, heavy rains may occur at isolated places over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura.
