UP Monsoon Alert: The people of Uttar Pradesh are eagerly awaiting the arrival of the monsoon. It is believed that the people of the state will soon wait for the monsoon to end. Monsoon is likely to become active in all parts of UP from June 19. On Tuesday night, heavy rain accompanied by thunder was reported in many areas of UP, following which the temperature dropped.
Many parts are still cloudy, and drizzle is visible. Anyway, the coming days are not going to be easy in terms of rain. According to the Indian Meteorological Department, a warning of heavy rainfall has been issued in all parts of Uttar Pradesh. IMD has advised caution due to the possibility of lightning.
Rain warning in these districts of UP
The Indian Meteorological Department has issued an alert for heavy rainfall in Prayagraj, Sonbhadra, Mirzapur, Chandauli, Varanasi, Sant Ravidas Nagar, and Jaunpur in Uttar Pradesh. Apart from these, rain may start with thunder in Ghazipur and Garh, nd will be accompanied by heavy rainfall. A heavy rain warning has been issued for Ballia, Deoria, Gorakhpur, Sant Kabir Basti, Kushinagar, and Basti.
Apart from these, an orange alert has been issued for rain in Maharajganj, Siddharth Nagar, Gonda, Balrampur and adjoining areas. A heavy rain warning has also been issued in Banda, Chitrakoot, Kaushambi, Fatehpur, Pratapgarh, Shravasti, Bahraich, and Lakhimpur Kheri.
Heavy rain with thunder may continue in Sitapur, Kanpur Dehat, Kanpur Nagar and Unnao districts. Heavy rain is expected in Lucknow, Barabanki, Rae Bareli, Amethi, Sultanpur, and Ayodhya. A heavy rain warning has also been issued in Ambedkar Nagar, Saharanpur, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Baghpat, and Ghaziabad.
Gusty wind warning
The Meteorological Department has predicted the possibility of gusty winds in Sant Ravidas Nagar, Jaunpur, Ghazipur, Azamgarh, Mau and Ballia. Apart from these, heavy rain is also expected in Deoria, Gorakhpur, Sant Kabir Nagar, Basti, Gonda, Kushinagar, Maharajganj, and Siddharth Nagar.
Banda, Chitrakoot, Kaushambi, Prayagraj, Sonbhadra, Mirzapur, and Balrampur are expected to experience winds at speeds of 40 to 50 kmph. Gusty winds may also occur in Chandauli, Varanasi, Shravasti, Bahraich, Lakhimpur Kheri, Ambedkar Nagar and Rampur.
