In various parts of Delhi-NCR, Uttar Pradesh, and Haryana, rising temperatures have been recorded, driven by bright sunshine. Over the next two days, temperatures are expected to rise by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius. Until March 27, spells of snowfall accompanied by rain may be observed in the Western Himalayan regions. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), alerts regarding cloud cover and rainfall have been issued for several states across the country.
Rain in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh
According to the IMD, there is a possibility of intermittent cloud cover, lightning, and light rainfall over the next week. The IMD has also indicated that similar weather conditions will prevail in the Vidarbha region for the next five days. Additionally, the IMD has issued an alert for light rainfall in several parts of Gujarat and Saurashtra on March 29 and 30.

The Meteorological Department has forecast the possibility of light to moderate rainfall in the national capital, Delhi. The region may also experience lightning and thunder. Furthermore, gusty winds are expected to blow. Temperatures are likely to remain within the normal range.

According to the Meteorological Department, a Western Disturbance has once again become active in Uttar Pradesh. An alert has been issued for storms, rain, and hailstorms across the state. Specifically for March 27, the forecast indicates a possibility of heavy rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning.
Weather to Deteriorate in Bihar as Well
According to the IMD, the impact of the Western Disturbance is being felt most intensely in Bihar. An alert has been issued for heavy rainfall accompanied by hailstorms in Bihar on March 27. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather across South India is presenting a mixed picture. In this region—specifically Kerala, Konkan, and Goa—intense heat and humidity on March 26 and 27 could cause discomfort to residents. As for Telangana and Karnataka, a warning for rain and thunderstorms has been issued. Additionally, an alert for hailstorms has been issued for North Interior Karnataka and Telangana for March 26.
