Free Trains For Mahakumbh 2025: The Maha Kumbh is being organized in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, these days. In this great festival of faith, crores of devotees have already arrived for the holy bath, and many more are expected to come. This Maha Kumbh, which began on January 13, will continue until February 26. Devotees are travelling from every corner of the country to take a holy bath in this sacred event.
Most of these devotees are travelling by train. Indian Railways is running many special trains for them. Recently, free train services have been started for these devotees. Here’s who will be eligible to travel for free.
Free Trains Started for Devotees Traveling from Goa to Maha Kumbh
Crores of devotees are coming from various parts of the country to take a holy bath in the Maha Kumbh being held in Prayagraj. The Indian Railways has made special arrangements for these devotees. Recently, the Goa government announced that three free special trains will run for devotees travelling to the Maha Kumbh from Goa. These trains will not only take the devotees to Prayagraj but will also provide free meals during the journey. Devotees travelling on these trains will have 24 hours to spend at the Maha Kumbh. After that, they will have to return by train from Prayagraj.

Who Will Be Eligible for Free Travel
The Goa government has decided to provide free travel for the state’s residents attending the Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj. The first train departed on Thursday, February 6, and was flagged off by Chief Minister Pramod Sawant. This free train service will be available to all residents of Goa aged between 18 and 60, provided they do not have any serious health issues.

Dates for the Additional Trains
In total, three special trains will be run by the Goa government. The first train left on February 6, the second will depart on February 13, and the third and final train will depart on February 21, 2025.
