Indian Railways Summer Special Trains 2026, Check Routes, Dates and Full Train List

Summer Special Trains: Great news for travelers! Due to the rise in passenger numbers during the summer months, the Railways has opted to operate several special trains. These services will connect Howrah and Khatipur, Kolkata and Madar Junction, Sabarmati BG and Asansol, Asansol and Jodhpur, as well as Howrah and Jabalpur.

According to the Railways’ announcement, the 09707 Khatipura – Howrah Special train is scheduled to depart from Khatipura at 17:00 hrs on April 15, April 22, and April 29, arriving in Howrah at 22:15 hrs the following day. Simultaneously, the 09708 Howrah – Khatipura special train will leave Howrah at 00:15 on April 17, April 24, and May 1, reaching Khatipura at 11:30 the next day. This train will make stops at Durgapur and Asansol stations, which are part of the Asansol Division of Eastern Railway, in both directions. It will feature sleeper class and air-conditioned (AC) coaches.

Special train service between Madar Junction and Kolkata

On the other hand, the 09605 Madar Junction – Kolkata Special train will depart from Madar Junction at 10:45 am on April 17, April 24, and May 1, arriving in Kolkata at 21:50 pm the next day.

At the same time, the 09606 Kolkata – Madar Junction Special train will leave Kolkata at 00:50 hrs on April 19, April 26, and May 3, reaching Madar Junction at 14:00 hrs the next day.

This train will also stop at Durgapur and Asansol stations along its route in both directions, under the Asansol Division of Eastern Railway. It will offer General Second Class, Sleeper Class, and AC Class coaches.

Summer Special Train between Sabarmati BG and Asansol

The 09435 Sabarmati BG-Asansol special train will leave Sabarmati BG at 22:55 hrs on April 17 and April 24, arriving in Asansol at 13:15 hrs on the third day.

In the opposite direction, the 09436 Asansol-Sabarmati BG special train will depart from Asansol at 16:10 on April 19 and April 26, reaching Sabarmati BG at 07:15 on the third day. This train will be entirely air-conditioned.

Jabalpur-Howrah special train

01701 Jabalpur-Howrah special train will depart from Jabalpur at 19:20 hrs on 14th April, 21st April and 28th April and will reach Howrah at 22:15 hrs the next day.

In the return direction, 01702 Howrah-Jabalpur special train will depart from Howrah at 00:15 hrs on 16th April, 23rd April and 30th April and will reach Jabalpur at 04:00 hrs the next day. This train will stop at Durgapur and Asansol stations under the Asansol division of Eastern Railway in both directions. Sleeper class and air-conditioned coaches will be available on this train.

Jodhpur-Asansol special train

04819 Jodhpur – Asansol special train will depart from Jodhpur at 17:00 hrs on 14th April, 21st April and 28th April and will reach Asansol at 04:55 hrs on the third day.

In the return direction, 04820 Asansol-Jodhpur special train will depart from Asansol at 07:55 hrs on 16th April, 23rd April and 30th April and will reach Jodhpur at 18:45 hrs the next day. The train will stop at Chittaranjan, Madhupur, and Jasidih stations within the Asansol Division of Eastern Railway in both directions. General second class, sleeper class, and air-conditioned coaches will be available on this train.
